Mosaic 'Poppies for Tommy' public commission for war memorial

30/05/2018
Come and join us this Satuday 2 June to create mosaic 'Poppies for Tommy' in Easingwold, near York to commemorate 100 years since the First World War ending.

The event will take place during the Easingwold and District Lions Summer Fete around Easingwold market place. You can find me in a gazebo near the Co-op.

We will begin creating ten mosaics which will later be installed on the circular wall surrounding the war memorial in the market place.

I will be there between 9.30-12.30 and 1.00-4.30. This is a free event funded by donations collected by the Easingwold and District Lions. Come and support us.

There are also many other activities taking place during the fete including a Fun Run and Brass Band contest.
