I was so happy to be positioned in the beautiful textile room for my mosaic demonstration at National Trust Fountains Abbey, Swanley Grange yesterday.

There was a fascinating display of skills including willow weaving, pottery, textiles, coracles, smithying, weaving, stained glass, jewellery, leatherwork and wood turning to name but a few!

This will hopefully become an annual event. Behind the stand there is a selection of beautiful hand-dyed wool using plants collected on-site and in local gardens.
